I love Christmas, and I love Santa…. I love the magic, the giving, the love, and the generosity of Santa. I love what Santa stands for….what he represents. Christ is THE reason for Christmas, and I have 3 nativity sets around the house (I’ll show them later). To me, Santa shows the giving nature of Christ. Of course he has been commercialized to death, but in my opinion he rocks. ;) Around Christmas time you can find that jolly old elf all around my house.
I started this Santa collection when Logan was a baby. I usually add a piece a year. This is the first year I haven’t had a mantle to display them on. I have to admit that I love them on my library table. I debated over what to hang over the table and settled on leaning an old window against the wall. I love how rustic and vintage it looks with the greenery.
I also added 2 apothecary jars and some Christmas books on the table as well as a simple red ribbon tied on the lamp. See the Santa sitting on the edge? He was what started the entire collection.
Here’s my Alabama Santa…. I can hear the “Roll Tide” coming from his lips!
Here’s a close up of some of my other Santas…..
This picture was added this year. It looks like a vintage Christmas card. I got it for $6.99 at TJMaxx! LOVE it.
I hung it in my fake entryway…..
You’ll even find Santa spread on my hutch….. I scored these dishes at TJMaxx back in Oct. They only had 6 each of the big plates, salad plates, and bowls, but it’s plenty to spread around on my table.
I’ve had so much fun getting all this stuff out this year for the girls. This is the first year that they’re really aware that it’s Christmas, and they’re learning what Christmas means…. They can tell you all about Baby Jesus and that “Santa bring toys if I’m a good gurl”. Here we are last Friday night headed to the Christmas parade. Thank goodness it’s only 2 blocks away, because Anne Pearce made it through half the parade before she had a potty emergency….. We didn’t even see Santa….such is the life with toddlers!
Merry Christmas from my little “Ralphies”. They look just thrilled don’t they???

Bama had quite a weekend, huh? (We used to live in Birmingham, and we have SO MANY friends who are UofA graduates. It's fun to enjoy the Tide by association.)
Your Santas are adorable. My mother had a huge Santa collection; yours reminded me of that. Thanks for stoking that sweet memory!
Love your Santa's and I think the window with the greenery above it was a great idea! Love that you put in the apothecary jars for interest, too.
Lovely!
It is so fun this year since Sabrina gets the whole Christmas thing - enjoying it on a whole new level!
