For those of you who don’t know me I am just getting back into the groove of Loulou after completing 2 international adoptions in 2 years…. Yeah. Those things tend to whoop your booty. Anyway, I started coming out of the fog this year and tackled some DIY projects and started the process of revamping our home. You can read more about MY change here in my “What happened to Loulou?” post. After saying goodbye to 2009 I have TONS of things scheduled for 2010.
My new to do list includes:
Changing my girls’ room to big girl from nursery which includes painting furniture and walls, making ALL the bedding, and finding new accessories.
Updating my living room
painting an antique desk
making Easter dresses and my girls’ spring wardrobes
slip covering an antique sofa I have
slip covering a club chair to coordinate
That is just a sampling of my list. I plan to dive on in next week and get these projects rolling.
Here are a few of my favorites from 2009. I surprised and myself by accomplishing these things, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
My hutch redo:
My grandmother’s shelf redo
My framed monogram:
THE find of the year:
My hunkylicious keys:
and finally, my favorite sewing project of the year:
I am linking up to Miss Mustard’s Seeds Favorites of 2009 ;)

Wow, seems like you accomplished a ton last year. I also really admire your huge list for this next year. I hope you get all done that you want to do and have a very Happy and Blessed New Year. Hugs, Marty
These are some great projects. That huge bookcase has got to be my favorite. It is function and beautiful. Your bedroom is also gorgeous, by the way. I'm so glad I met you this year and I can't wait to see what else you do.
love love LOVE all your amazing projects you did! WAY TO GO! DARLING outfit too!
Sewing, painting, reinventing furniture ~ is there anything you can't do!? ; ) These are all great projects. You've really got me motivated to write all mine down and have that satisfaction of crossing it off the list.
Beautiful projects...love the bookshelf makeover. :)
Love the furniture!! And your children's creations! I can't wait to see the new dresses you make for the girls. I hope you post them so we can see.

Love all your creations. You inspire me to get my butt in gear and make a list for 2010! I am ready to tackle some projects I was afraid to try before. Keep the ideas coming...because I am totally scooping some of them! Sent a request on FB...
You were quite energetic for a new mom!! Great make-overs...especially the hutch...love the monogram, too. Happy New Year
I want a bed that looks like that! Love your bedding. I took a pillow count so I can copy:) I also love the grandmothers shelf redo. Very inspiring.
I love all the projects you posted! I'm about to order the vintage keys from Pottery Barn ($19 for 7 of them...) to do a project similar to yours. :)
Love the site- Happy New year!
I love all the projects, but I am going to have to find out more about the adoptions, Hubby and I can't stop considering it. We have two girls but continue to feel God stir our hearts. God Bless
Your furniture projects are awesome! I love the hutch. The colors are beautiful.
And that little outfit you made... delish.
I'm going to follow your blog and can't wait to look around in your archives.
Happy 2010 to you and your family.

A proud list I must say! That bedroom I'm loving so much. Can't even just pinpoint one thing. It just melds together so well, like a puzzle!

Lovely projects. And you are so right that colourful apron/ dress is my favorite too. I bet the little girl that is the proud owner feels like a princess when she is wearing it.
You have some awesome furniture redos...thanks for sharing with all of us!
Blessings,
Linda
