linky party with a giveaway!

Tomorrow is the first day of “A Little Distressed” party. I would love to see all your before and afters that involve a little sandpaper and elbow grease…. The more distressed the better! You can also feature a find that has the distressing done for you…anything old and chippy will work! I love seeing furniture before and afters. They make my day!  In honor of my first party I will be giving away a Swan Creek Candle. The shop where my mama works in downtown Fairhope sells them, and they’re the most popular shop on the street! You can smell the yumminess all the way around the block! These candles are amazing. If you keep the wicks trimmed you can get HOURS and HOURS out of these babies…. I have some that I’ve had for a year or so. FABULOUS!

You know you want this candle…. You’ll be the envy of all your neighbors! :)

Now to enter:

1. Become a follower of this blog. If you’re already one you get one chance. Leave me a comment to let me know you are a follower or that you became one.

2. Link up a project. Leave me a comment with a short description of your project.

3. Tell about the party on your blog…. Come on back over here, and leave me a comment telling me you gave me the shout out.

4. Share a link on Facebook for another chance…. Just hop on back, and leave me the link.

Easy peasy! I’m working on a bloggy button and hope to have one tomorrow….

Come on ladies. Get ready to show me anything that’s “A Little Distressed”. See you tomorrow!

Lou,
I started reading your blog during the adoption of our son from Guatemala. I love seeing the pictures of your furniture makeovers. I wish I had your eye and talent to pick out furniture and to redo it. Do you mind doing a post about how to get started? What to look for when buying furniture? What tools are needed? Your favorite paints?

Could you come to Nashville and give me a one-on-one tutorial!? ha!
