That’s exactly what I did when I saw this gal at my Goodwill today for a whopping $5.99.
Uh huh.
Yup. She’s a diamond in the rough with her hideous upholstery and pitiful paint job, but I KNOW that she can do better….
In my mind, I picture her something like this:
I love Holly over at Life in the Fun Lane. She is AMAZING. Her furniture redos are simple and quite honestly, perfect... Let's not fail to mention that she's also drop dead gorgeous and looks amazing in every photo! Her piece is my inspiration!
Now, there won’t be any white going on in this house of 4 dirty children, but I have a plan. :) I only have 4,592,134 things to do ahead of this one, but I have a feeling it’s sneaking up to the top of the list soon. I can’t wait!
Love and hugs.

Great bargain. I can't wait to see the finished project!
That chair will look amazing! I am trying to get through a crib, but the weather here has been so-so for painting outside. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can get it finished up next weekend before the really bad weather sets in.
Oh my!! That chair from Life in the Fun Lane (right?) is exactly what I thought of, too, when I saw yours :) Have fun with it!
When I saw the original chair I immediately thought of Holly's chair! I can't wait to see what you do with it. The upholstery job would so intimidate me. I admire people who can take on projects like that.
What a great find, she's going to be gorgeous !
What an incredible find, and such a super price. Can't wait to see it all dressed up, I would be putting it at the top of my ladder too. Love your blog, tami from the high street cottage
